Open Mic Tuesdays at LOL
The newest comedy club in Texas, the LOL Comedy Club, features an Comedy Open Mic every Tuesday at 8:00PM. Check out the latest room in San Antonio where you can take the stage to try out new jokes, old jokes, or even try out doing stand-up for the first time.
Every week the crowds are getting larger and the list is growing with new comics. The LOL Comedy Club offers lots of free parking, an easily accessible location – located at loop-410 and Blanco Rd., and great drink specials during their Open Mics.

The first Wednesday of every month Corpus Christi favorite Berto Garcia hosts The Beer and Berto show at The House of Rock. Berto presents web clips and stand-up comedy with great drink specials to create the most hilarious night on the coast of Texas.

The funniest Saturday Ever.
Looking for entertainment tonight then you will find it in San Antonio.
Starting at 3:30 at The Rivercenter Comedy Club’s open mike, then LOL Comedy Club has a show at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Local favorite Roy Lopez has his Slice of Comedy show at 8:00 PM that features local and regional acts with a focus on San Antonio. Then at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM The Rivercenter Comedy Club has their main show.

Big Comedy Weekend.
This week has lots of opportunities for live stand-up comedy.
- Wednesday – The Comedy Corridor in San Marcos has their weekly open mic at 8:00PM. Rivercenter Comedy Club has headliner Walli Collins, feature act Mario Digiorgio, and local host Alex Kool-Aid Ansel.
- Thursday – Rivercenter Comedy Club has a show at 8:30 PM. Rose’s Variety Show starts at 7:30PM at The Shangrila restaurant off Goliad. At 10:30PM SOHO has comedy night featuring Jade Esteban Estrada.
- Friday – Open Mic at Rivercenter Comedy Club at 5:30PM with two shows at 8:30PM and 10:40PM. Also check out The Comedy Corridor featuring headliner Todd Larson, feature act Albert Im, and opener Christian Thorne with two shows at 8:30PM and 10:30PM.
- Saturday – Open Mic at Rivercenter Comedy Club at 3:30PM with two shows at 8:30PM and 10:40PM. The Comedy Corridor is back for two more shows at 8:30PM and 10:30PM. Rivercenter Comedy also has their free Midnight Madness show at 12:20AM. A Slice of Comedy is back this week as well with headliner Mark Riojas, feature act Deleon, and host Michael Suarez.

Open Mic at Retox Bar
Check out Retox located at 1031 Patricia every Wednesday night at 8:30PM for an open mic night while enjoying some of their great drink specials. Retox features live music throughout the week, karaoke, and now stand-up comedy. Local comic Johnny Luna has created his video opus on YouTube. Entitled Slaughter Lake Slaughter it is a short film that follows a group of friends as they fail to recognize the warning signs that their group outing may be a deadly trap.
Slaughter Lake Slaughter features a bevy of Stand-Up talent from San Antonio and is well worth a viewing – or two. The subtle nuances of the performances as well as the twists and turns will keep you entertained until the final scene.
